Rush Too Far - Book # 1.1 in the Rosemary Beach Series by Abbi Glines - 4.5 STARS!!!

Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines
Four & a half Rushtastic stars!!
Blurb - Fallen Too Far was Blaire's story. Now it's time for Rush to share his side.

Everyone in Rosemary Beach thinks they know how Rush Finlay and Blaire Wynn fell in love. But Rush is back to tell his side of the story...

Rush has earned every bit of his bad-boy reputation. The three-story beach house, luxury car, and line of girls begging for time between his sheets are the envy of every guy in Rosemary Beach, and Rush handles it all with the laid-back cool of a rock star’s son. All he needs are his best friend, Grant, and his sister, Nan.

Until Blaire Wynn drives into town in her beat-up pickup truck with a pistol under her seat. The Alabama farm girl instantly captures Rush’s attention once he discovers that the angelic beauty is his new stepsister, but he vows to keep his distance. Even if she needs his help. Even if he craves her.

Because Rush knows why Blaire is all alone in the world, forced to ask for help from the father who abandoned her three years ago. And he knows if he gets too close it will destroy Nan, who has a secret connection to Blaire.

He has every reason in the world to stay away from her. Find out why he doesn’t.
Rush Too Far is book # 1.1 of the Rosemary Beach Series by Abbi Glines, I’ve read all of the other books in this series and loved them especially Rush & Blaire’s story. To see the complete reading order for the Rosemary Beach Series click Here.
Thank god I know what happens next though because if I had read this without having read the rest of the series I would have been one seriously outraged bunny!!
The good bits...
·         Rush, god I love him sooooo much more now.
·         Blaire I had forgotten how adorable she is.
·         Grant, yum!!
And the not so good bits...
·         Nan, what a bitch!!
It’s been ages since I read Rush & Blaire’s books and I had forgotten how lovely their story is. Now I normally say that I hate male POV’s and until recently I would have stood by that. I hold my hands up I have changed my mind, Rush Too Far is a perfect example of how male POV’s work and work well.
Abbi Glines has written this portrayal of Rush so beautifully I feel like he has been given a complete new dimension to his character that we never see in Fallen Too Far.
I love Rush & Blaire together they have so much chemistry and if possible the sex scenes are even hotter when Rush tells them.
In Fallen Too Far you don’t get to feel how obsessed and protective Rush is of Blaire and I love that he goes all Alpha about her.
Christ how much of a pain in the ass is Nan?  My biggest frustration with this book is that even though Rush knows that Nan is manipulating him he lets her get away with it.
Id forgotten how much I like this series but this has refreshed my mind, I hope that Abbi Glines writes the other Rush & Blaire books from Rush’s POV too I would love to read them.
Overall I really enjoyed this book I think a reread of the full series may be in order!
