My Review

3.5 Adorable Young Love Stars
Home is Where You Are is the first book I have read by this author, I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review so here goes.....

This book is a bit of a slow starter and I worried that it would be one of those books that goes on and on and nothing really happens.

Instead this book slowly but surely engages you and pulls you magnetically towards the characters.

Dean is your stereotypical homeless teen; he’s run out of hope and is just trying to survive.

I’ve read a few teen runaway stories recently and I have to say they really pull at my heartstrings and I find that I really invest in the characters and I want to make sure they are ok.

I loved Anna she reminds me a bit of the character Rachel in Glee, she’s a bit stuck up and self-righteous but something about her still makes you like her.

I thought the romance between Anna and Dean was adorable. I love the sweet innocence that comes with being a teenager.

This author managed to bring love and hope to young characters whose lives are tough and hard and so far removed from the high school musical world of young romance.

This book is about new starts and not dwelling on things that we cannot control, I almost feel like this book has a moral to it lol.

I enjoyed this story, it’s a fairly quick read but it kept me entertained the whole flight back from Amsterdam and I finished it with a fuzzy happy glow! 3.5 stars.
